30 Yard Construction Dumpster | Salt Lake City

30 Yard Construction
Dumpster, SLC.

The biggest roll-off in our fleet, built for new construction, full home demos, and multi-week commercial jobs. 30 cubic yards of capacity, heavy-debris-rated, and a same-day swap option for crews running tight schedules. Trade-account pricing available.

The Construction Workhorse

Built for the heavy haul.

The 30 yard is the dumpster general contractors actually call for. 30 cubic yards of capacity, heavy-debris-rated walls, and same-day swap turnaround when your crew is running tight. Drop it on the slab, fill it through the demo, swap when full. Repeat as needed.

Most home-remodel and roof-replacement projects do not need this size — the 20 yard handles those. The 30 yard earns its keep on new construction, foundation pours, full-home teardowns, and commercial buildouts.

Best For

Projects this size earns its keep.

  • New construction — single-family builds, custom homes, ADU projects, multi-week framing and finish work.
  • Full-home demolition — teardown projects, scrape-and-rebuild, post-fire cleanup, total-loss demos.
  • Commercial buildouts — tenant improvement, retail fit-out, office demolition, restaurant build-outs.
  • Large-volume roof replacements — multi-layer tear-offs, commercial flat-roof teardowns, multi-building roof jobs.
  • Excavation + foundation work — fill removal, concrete teardown, deep-foundation digs.
  • Multi-trade jobsites — when framers, roofers, electricians, and finish crews all generate debris on the same site through a multi-week schedule.

30 Yard FAQs

What contractors ask before booking.

How much weight can it hold?
30 yard dumpsters are rated for heavy construction debris up to a fixed tonnage allowance per rental. Overages are billed at $49 per ton. Concrete and dirt jobs typically need a dedicated pricing call up front.
Can I get a same-day swap?
Yes. Trade accounts get priority dispatch for same-day swap when a bin fills mid-project. Call before noon and we usually swap that afternoon.
Do you take concrete in the 30 yard?
Pure concrete loads need a dedicated price quote because of weight. Mixed debris with some concrete content is fine within the tonnage allowance.
What about prohibited materials?
No hazardous waste, no liquids, no tires, no batteries, no refrigerants. Full list at /prohibited-items/. We call before billing for contamination fees.
What permits do I need?
On private commercial property or your jobsite, no permit needed. On a public street, you need a SLC street-placement permit pulled before delivery.
Can I get a 30 yard with a cover?
Yes. 30 yard dumpsters can come with or without a cover. Some HOA communities require a cover. Covers also help with theft and stop strangers from illegally dumping in your bin or pulling items out. If you want one, just call or text and we will spec the bin with a cover.
