The most common questions we get on Utah dumpster rentals, portable toilets, concrete washouts, and material deliveries. If your question is not here, call or text Bubba at 801-230-5045 and you will get a real answer in plain English.
Booking
Placing your first order.
How do I book a dumpster?
Schedule online at bubsdisposal.com or call or text Bubba at 801-230-5045. Most folks book in 90 seconds. We pick the right size with you, lock the delivery window, and you are set.
How fast can you deliver?
Same-day to next-day on most Wasatch Front addresses. Park City, Heber, and mountain venues usually go next-day. Call before noon for same-day service when possible.
Do you serve mountain venues and remote sites?
Yes. We deliver to Park City, Heber, Kamas, the Snyderville Basin, and most addresses in Summit and Wasatch counties. No canyon surcharge.
Do I have to be there for drop-off or pickup?
No. Mark the placement spot with a stake or a quick text and we handle it. Same for pickup. You are only needed if the placement has unusual access notes that need real-time eyes.
Delivery
What to expect when we drop off.
How much room do I need for a dumpster?
A 15 or 20 yard roll-off needs about 22 feet long by 8 feet wide of clear ground. A 30 yard needs about 24 feet. Add 12 feet of overhead clearance for the truck to tip the bin. Driveways, side yards, and most parking pads work fine.
Will the truck damage my driveway?
Bubs drivers carry boards and pads and use them anytime we drop on a finished surface (concrete, asphalt, decorative pavers). We are careful, but homeowners are responsible for the placement they choose, so flag any soft spots, septic lines, sprinklers, or fragile surfaces at the time of booking.
Do I need a permit?
Only if the dumpster sits on a public street or other public property. On your driveway or jobsite, no permit is needed. If your city does require one, you pull it from your city office before delivery.
Loading
How to fill it without a callback.
How do I load the dumpster?
Toss it in but do not fill it above the top rail. Nothing can hang over the sides or stick above the rim. We tarp every load before it leaves your address, so an overloaded bin gets refused at pickup. Heavy stuff (concrete, dirt, asphalt) goes on the bottom.
What can I put in the dumpster?
Most construction debris, demolition material, household junk, yard waste, furniture, mattresses, appliances (with refrigerant evacuated). Mixed loads are fine. If we can recycle a stream in your load (metal, concrete, green waste, cardboard), we route it to the right Utah recycling facility instead of the landfill.
What is not allowed in the dumpster?
Anything flammable, toxic, or hazardous. That includes tires, batteries, paints, oils, asbestos, refrigerants, medical waste, fuels, and contaminated soil. Full prohibited list. If unsure, call before tossing.
Pricing & Payment
Flat rate. No surprise fees.
How much does a dumpster cost?
Flat-rate per size and rental period. Get a live quote at bubsdisposal.com or call 801-230-5045. Pricing includes a tonnage allowance. Any weight over that allowance is billed at $49 per ton.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Standard rental is 5 days from drop. Need it longer? No problem, additional days are billed at a flat per-day rate. Trade accounts can run multi-week and multi-month rentals.
How do I pay?
Cash, check, Venmo (@Bubs-Disposal), or credit card. Trade accounts get net-30 invoicing on first call. We invoice at delivery or after pickup, whichever you prefer.
What if I go over the weight allowance?
We will call you to confirm before billing. Additional tonnage is $49 per ton, billed by credit card or added to your invoice.
