The Small Washouts

A pan sits right where the chute can reach it

Pans are low and square. They set right where you need them, so they fit driveways, footings and tight residential sites. Your crew rinses chutes, pump trucks and tools into the pan instead of onto the ground.

Our truck has a crane. It lifts the pan off the deck and sets it down where you point, then picks it back up when the pour is done.

Pump truck on the job? The 1.5 yard is low enough for the boom to wash out straight into it. The 2.5 works with pump trucks too. Tell us the rig when you book and we will check the reach.

Why Utah keeps calling Bubs Disposal

Bigger pour? Our 7 and 11 yard washout roll-offs handle commercial slabs and long pour days.
Sizes + Specs

Two pans, two roll-offs. Pick your washout

Both pans are 7 feet by 7 feet. The 2.5 yard is twice as tall, so it holds about twice the rinses in the same spot. Rinse counts are estimates. They depend on water use, how many chutes, the mix and the operator.

Size by Pour

Which washout pan for your pour

Here is how we usually size the jobs we see most.

POUR 01

Footings and Foundations

A residential footing or foundation pour usually fits a pan. One truck, take the 1.5.

A few trucks, a basement floor or a long pour day, take the 2.5.

POUR 02

Driveways, Sidewalks and Small Slabs

The 1.5 is only 14 inches tall, so it sits beside a driveway pour without taking over the yard.

Rinse the chute and the tools into the pan. The slurry stays in the pan, not on the lawn.

POUR 03

Fenced and Tight Sites

Our crane lifts the pan and sets it down where you point. The truck does not have to back it into place.

Hard spot to describe? Text us a photo or a pin and we will tell you straight if it works.

POUR 04

Bigger Than a Pan

The 2.5 holds about 20 to 30 chute rinses. If your pour needs more than that, a roll-off is the better fit.

Our 7 and 11 yard roll-offs come on the truck like a dumpster and hold about 40 to 80 rinses.

What You Get + What We Won’t Do

What comes with every pan

Every pan ✓

  • Set by our crane where you point
  • Chute and pump truck rinse-off
  • Concrete and rebar both OK
  • Pulled or swapped when it is full
  • Hardened concrete crushed into road base
  • A clean invoice

What we won’t do ✗

  • Landfill your concrete
  • Charge extra for normal rebar
  • Leave travel off your quote
  • Work Sundays (text anyway, you are first on Monday’s route)

Same site, same call: dumpsters, portable toilets and material deliveries come from us too. Just ask.

Where Your Washout Goes

Crushed into road base, never landfilled

When the pour is done and the concrete has hardened, we pick up the pan. The concrete gets crushed into road base. It does not go to the landfill.

Leave the rebar in. Normal rebar from a washout has no surcharge. If a load runs heavy on rebar, there is an $85 surcharge.

Want the whole trip? Here is where your concrete goes after pickup.

Not sure your site needs a washout?

Our page on why you need a concrete washout covers SWPPP and stormwater rules, and who to ask about your own site.

Common Questions

Washout pan questions, answered

What size concrete washout pan do I need?
The 1.5 yard handles about 10 to 15 chute rinses. The 2.5 yard handles about 20 to 30. Those are estimates, since water use, the number of chutes, the mix and the operator all change it. Need more than that? Look at our washout roll-offs.
How big is a concrete washout pan?
Both pans are 7 feet by 7 feet. The 1.5 yard is 14 inches tall. The 2.5 yard is 28 inches tall.
Can a pump truck wash out into the pan?
Yes. The 1.5 yard is low enough for the boom to wash out straight into it. The 2.5 works with pump trucks too. Tell us the rig when you book so we can check the reach.
Can rebar go in a washout pan?
Yes. Concrete and rebar are both OK, and there is no surcharge for normal rebar. If a load runs heavy on rebar, there is an $85 surcharge.
How much does a washout pan rental cost?
It is priced by size, and delivery, pickup and hauling to the crusher are included. Your quote is calculated for your exact address, travel included, so the number you get is the number you pay. Call or text 801-230-5045 for yours.
How fast can you deliver a pan?
Same-day is often possible. Next business day is standard. For a scheduled pour, book 2 to 3 days ahead. Sundays we are off, but text anyway and you are first on Monday’s route.
Does a washout pan help with my SWPPP?
Yes. The pan keeps slurry contained, off the ground and out of storm drains. Log the washout in your SWPPP. The rules for your own site come from the state or your city. Our page on why you need a concrete washout explains how it fits together.
Should I get a pan or a roll‑off?
Pans are smaller and set in place, so they fit tight and residential sites. Roll-offs come on the truck like a dumpster and handle bigger commercial pours. Here are our 7 and 11 yard roll-offs.
What happens to the concrete after pickup?
It gets crushed into road base, never landfilled. More on our concrete recycling page.
Do you offer Net 30 for contractors?
Yes. Trade accounts get Net 30 invoicing. Mention it when you call or in the notes on the quote form.
