Most moves fit a 15 or 20 yard dumpster. A full house or a big downsize wants the 30. Get it before you pack to purge what is not making the trip, or after the last box to clear out what is left. Standard rental is 5 days.
When should I get a dumpster for my move?
Before you pack, if you want to move less. The broken patio set, the mattress nobody sleeps on, three years of garage clutter. Everything that goes in the bin is something you do not box, load or pay to move.
After the last box, if you are leaving the place empty for a buyer or a landlord. Whatever did not make the cut goes in the bin instead of the curb.
Doing both? Book the 5 days so they straddle move day. If you need it longer, just text or call us to extend.

What size dumpster do I need for a move?
Each bin comes with a weight allowance: 1 ton on the 15 yard, 2 tons on the 20, 3 tons on the 30. If you go over the included weight, it is $49 a ton.
An apartment, a smaller home, or a single-room purge.
A garage plus a few rooms of clutter, or a full house move-out.
A whole-house cleanout, a big downsize, or an estate move.

We drop the bin and haul it away. The packing and the loading are yours, or your movers’.
Purging Before You Pack
Go room by room and toss as you go. Every load in the bin is a box you do not pack and a spot you do not pay for on the moving truck.
A 15 yard usually covers an apartment. A 20 handles a house with a full garage.
Selling the House or Handing Back the Keys
What is left after the last box goes in the bin. You leave the place empty for the buyer or the landlord.
Landlords and property managers turning a unit over use the same bin. Trade accounts get Net 30 invoicing.
Downsizing and Estate Moves
Moving a parent into something smaller, or clearing a family home. The 30 yard is the usual size, and it is the only one that comes with a cover.
You do not need to be home for the drop-off. Mark the spot or text us a photo of it.

- Yard waste (branches, sod, soil, landscape rock)
- Appliances, washers, dryers, water heaters
- Fridges, freezers and AC units, once a licensed tech drains the refrigerant
- Scrap metal (we route it to the scrap recycler, not the landfill)
What we don’t take ✗
- Hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents, paint thinner
- Wet paint, lacquer, stain and varnish
- Tires (separate disposal required)
- Batteries (auto, lithium, lead-acid)
- Gas, diesel, propane and other fuels
- Medical waste and sharps
- Oils and industrial drums
